The Lockdown – Marzo/Maggio 2020
Firenze – Quegli spazi pieni di vita, ma anche soffocati dal turismo di massa e dalla fretta dei lavoratori, si sono svuotati e ci hanno raccontato un’altra storia. Hanno mutato aspetto e natura, svuotati del loro rapporto con l’uomo oltre ad aver perso la loro funzione aggregativa, sociale o pratica. Ci si propone con questo lavoro di offrire uno sguardo nuovo e insolito per raccontare e descrivere i luoghi e l’intervallo che abbiamo vissuto, attraverso questa sospensione dal nostro vivere consueto. Una situazione difficile e infelice dettata dal lockdown che però ci ha messo nella condizione rara di osservare e raccontare l’Architettura, gli edifici e le piazze come spazi solitari portandoci a un rovesciamento della nostra visione della città.

The Lockdown – March/May 2020
Florence – Those spaces full of life, but also suffocated by mass tourism and the haste of workers, have emptied themselves and told us another story. They have changed appearance and nature, emptied of their relationship with man as well as having lost their aggregative, social or practical function. With this work we aim to offer a new and unusual look to tell and describe the places and the interval we have experienced, through this suspension from our usual life. A difficult and unhappy situation dictated by the lockdown that, however, put us in the rare condition of observing and narrating Architecture, buildings and squares as solitary spaces leading to a reversal of our vision of the city.
